Air pollution: Capital residents suffer from dust, holding their breath while waiting for red lights

Air pollution index in many areas in Hanoi in recent days has reached the red warning level - a level that is seriously harmful to health, especially for children, the elderly and people with respiratory diseases.

Not only on traffic routes but also at Thong Nhat Park or around Hoan Kiem Lake, people still have to wear masks when walking or exercising.

Smoke and dust force many people to change their living habits: closing doors all day, washing dishes before every meal.

But for the majority of workers exposed to dust and smoke every day, dust is not only something that makes it difficult to breathe, but also a silent danger to the lungs, heart and even life in the long term.
