In the afternoon training session on September 23, Vietnam Olympic welcomed the return of Phan Tuan Tai. The defender born in 2001 can warm up and do light exercises with his teammates.
Phan Tuan Tai will have difficulty recovering 100% of his best playing condition. It is likely that he will not be able to return to the starting lineup in the match against Olympic Saudi Arabia. However, if Phan Tuan Tai recovers well, coach Hoang Anh Tuan can consider using this player when needing to adjust personnel in the match.

However, when considering the points and goal difference of the 3rd ranked teams with the best results, the results of the matches with the bottom ranked teams in groups with 4 participating countries are eliminated. Therefore, Vietnam Olympic is still at a disadvantage.
