Mr. Le Minh Ngan was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee.

(Dan Tri) - Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee Le Minh Ngan was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On September 19, the 15th Lai Chau Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, announced the election results at the first meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee. Mr. Le Minh Ngan, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.

At the opening session on the afternoon of September 18, the Congress elected the 15th Lai Chau Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 47 members. The new Executive Committee held its first meeting, electing a Standing Committee of 13 members.

Accordingly, Mr. Le Van Luong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Sung A Ho, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, were elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The conference also elected the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission consisting of 13 members. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Vinh, Chairman of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, term XIV, was elected as Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, term XV.

On the morning of September 19, the congress elected a delegation of 16 official delegates and 1 alternate to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Le Minh Ngan thanked the congress for its trust. This is an honor and responsibility entrusted to him by the cadres, party members, and people of all ethnic groups in Lai Chau province.

Mr. Le Minh Ngan affirmed absolute loyalty to Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought and the Party's renovation policy; steadfastly adhere to the revolutionary goals and ideals chosen by Uncle Ho and the people; strictly abide by the Party's political platform, regulations, resolutions, and the State's policies and laws.

Mr. Le Minh Ngan was born on October 5, 1969, hometown in Quang Binh province (now Quang Tri province).

From June 2016 to January 2020, Mr. Le Minh Ngan was Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province (now Quang Tri province).

From February 2020 to February 2025, Mr. Le Minh Ngan held the position of Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. From March to August, Mr. Le Minh Ngan was Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

In September, according to Decision No. 2283-QDNS/TW dated August 30 of the Secretariat, Mr. Le Minh Ngan ceased to hold the position of Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment; transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
