Mr. Quang shared that Ca Mau, the southernmost province of the country, is not only a homeland rich in revolutionary tradition but also a place where the cultural quintessence of the southern region converges.
He repeated the familiar song "I heard that Ca Mau is very far away, at the end of the map of Vietnam" and said that the word "I heard" has inspired many people to explore.
With its "frontier position", maintaining every inch of sacred land, sky, and sea in the far South is an important task, requiring special investment and care.
The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee suggested that the Party Committee of Ca Mau province should thoroughly grasp and fully recognize the unfavorable factors to have solutions to overcome them, and at the same time take advantage of every opportunity to effectively exploit potentials and strengths. He called for breakthrough and creative thinking, and united efforts to build Ca Mau to develop quickly and sustainably in the coming years.
The key tasks proposed by Mr. Quang include: maintaining solidarity and unity, building a clean and strong Party organization and political system, and streamlining the organizational apparatus effectively.
The province needs to review and supplement the planning to exploit the potential and advantages in the new development space, strengthen the connection with the regions and Ho Chi Minh City. In particular, it is necessary to focus on investing in the strong development of the marine economy, restructuring agriculture towards green and sustainable direction, developing renewable energy industry and agricultural, forestry and fishery processing industry.
Regarding cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Tran Luu Quang suggested that the leaders of Ca Mau province and the city review, recalculate, and choose some tasks to do thoroughly to create inspiration. He took the example of Ca Mau crab, proposing the certification of "Ca Mau crab is more delicious, better quality, guaranteed not to be related to chemicals and reasonable price".
In addition, Mr. Quang suggested that the two localities could discuss so that hundreds of thousands of university and college students could travel to Dat Mui at least once. This would not only increase the number of tourists but also help the younger generation know more about Ca Mau, thereby contributing to the overall development of the country and Ca Mau in particular.
Finally, Mr. Tran Luu Quang suggested that the new Executive Committee continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, pioneering, responsibility, exemplary, closely following the grassroots, and well organizing the implementation of the goals and tasks set out by the Congress.
