Lao Cai province has basically completed the arrangement of the government apparatus and reduced the number of agencies and units to ensure consistency and unity with the Central's arrangement plans.

The cadres were assigned to new positions that were basically suitable to their abilities and strengths. Specifically, Mr. Duong Duc Huy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Department, held the position of Head of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Department. Ms. Ly Thi Vinh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, was transferred to hold the position of Secretary of the Bao Thang District Party Committee.

Previously, to facilitate the restructuring of the apparatus, Lao Cai province had 4 department directors requesting early retirement, including: Mr. Ngo Duc Anh, Director of the Department of Finance (retirement age in October 2028); Mr. Do Van Duy, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (retirement age in 2030); Mr. Ha Van Thang, Director of the Department of Tourism (retirement age in July 2028); Mr. Bui Khac Hien, Director of the Department of Science and Technology (retirement age in October 2028).

On the same day, districts and cities of Lao Cai province also announced decisions on restructuring the apparatus and organizing staff.
