People of Pac Ta commune increase their income from growing pineapple.
Traffic criteria are considered one of the outstanding criteria in the construction of new rural areas in Pac Ta commune. The entire 38.1km of commune roads have been concreted; 100% asphalted. The village, hamlet and inter-hamlet road system has also received investment attention, with 21.8/23.05km having been hardened (reaching 94.5%). All alley and hamlet roads have been completed (reaching 100%), contributing to facilitating the travel and daily activities of the people.
In addition, the main intra-field road serving agricultural production has been hardened for 23.66/34.85km (reaching 67.8%), facilitating the transportation of goods and agricultural products. With this result, Pac Ta is clearly affirming its efforts in completing the traffic infrastructure, creating a premise to promote local socio -economic development.

Regarding irrigation criteria, Pac Ta commune has effectively implemented the management and operation of irrigation works in accordance with regulations. The People's Committee of the commune signed a management contract, ensuring that the maintenance and repair of works are carried out regularly from the capital source supporting the use of public irrigation products and services. Thanks to that, the irrigation system of the commune operates stably, well meeting the irrigation needs for agricultural production and people's lives. Currently, the proportion of agricultural land area that is actively irrigated and drained in the commune is over 85%, of which the rice production area is 760/790ha, equivalent to 96.2%, contributing significantly to improving the productivity and efficiency of agricultural production in the locality.
Identifying income criteria as a key factor, playing a decisive role in completing other criteria of the New Rural Development Program, Pac Ta commune has focused on promoting the implementation of this criterion based on the local potential and available advantages. With a large and fertile agricultural land fund, the commune actively propagates and mobilizes people to convert ineffective cultivated land areas to grow crops with high economic value such as: commodity rice, jackfruit, durian custard apple, pineapple, asparagus, tea...; raising large livestock in the direction of commodities. Pac Ta commune strives to have an average income per capita of about 51 million VND/person/year by the end of 2025.

Regarding the multidimensional poverty criteria, the People's Committee of Pac Ta commune continues to effectively implement programs and projects to support production development, create sustainable livelihoods and increase income for people, contributing to reducing the poverty rate in the area. Thanks to the synchronous implementation of many solutions, up to now, the multidimensional poverty rate of the commune has decreased to 12.6%. This result demonstrates the efforts of the local government and people in hunger eradication and poverty reduction, towards the goal of sustainable socio-economic development.
With the support of the State for seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, Ms. Dao Thi Huong in Son Ha village is actively taking care of more than 300 Hoang Khanh La Bau jackfruit trees on more than 1 hectare of her family's garden. In addition, she has also converted 20 hectares of ineffective upland land to grow jackfruit to increase income.
Ms. Dao Thi Huong (Son Ha village, Pac Ta commune) said: “In order to develop the economy, in the past, my family actively planted and cared for tea. In recent years, thanks to the propaganda and mobilization of the commune to change the crop structure, my family boldly switched to growing jackfruit. I have invested in an automatic irrigation system and actively cared for the jackfruit tree with the hope that it will bring high income and have a stable output.”

People's awareness of new rural construction is increasingly raised, gradually defining their role as the subject, thereby agreeing, participating in donating land, contributing working days in the implementation process.
Up to now, the commune has achieved 15/19 criteria (planning; transportation; irrigation; electricity; cultural facilities; rural trade infrastructure; information and communication; income; multidimensional poverty; labor; production organization and rural economic development; culture; environment and food safety; political system and legal access; national defense and security). The rural face has many innovations, specialized and concentrated agricultural production areas have been gradually formed with effective investment. The political system has been strengthened, improved, and the effectiveness and efficiency of government management have been improved. Problems arising in rural areas have been well managed and resolved; political security and social order and safety have been increasingly consolidated...
