Women's Union members of Thu Lum commune help each other build houses.
Implementing the Campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean", the Association launched it to all 17 branches and received positive responses from members. Currently, the whole commune has 3 waste collection teams with 130 members participating, maintaining village hygiene twice a month, collecting waste in the right place. Along with that, the Association also built 3 "Green House" models to collect and classify waste, contributing to reducing environmental pollution and beautifying the rural landscape.
Ms. Ly Phu De (Thu Lum village) shared: Previously, people in the village still littered household waste indiscriminately, causing environmental pollution and spoiling the village's beauty. Since the Commune Women's Union launched the green house model, members have raised awareness of environmental hygiene, and each family collects and sorts waste themselves.

The sports movement attracted a large number of members to participate.
Along with that, the movement "Women help each other develop the economy " was widely deployed. The Association mobilized members to borrow capital from the Social Policy Bank to invest in economic development with a total outstanding loan of more than 8.6 billion VND (136 households borrowed). Many members effectively invested in livestock, cultivation, business, gradually stabilizing and improving their lives. Typical examples are the families of Ma Mu De, Ly Ha Xo, Ly Phu De, Chu Xu Xo... who have built a model of raising buffaloes and cows for reproduction, growing trees of high economic value, bringing sustainable income.
Ms. Ly Ha Xo (Go Kha village) said: In the past, my family had a lot of difficulties due to traditional farming and raising animals, with unstable income. Thanks to the propaganda of the Commune Women's Union, I boldly traded crickets, tangerine peels and some local agricultural products, thanks to which my family's income was stable and the quality of life was improved.
In addition, the Association also actively promotes its members to participate in the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", organizes cultural, artistic and mass sports activities. Every year, over 85% of member families meet cultural standards. The Association also encourages its members to care for and encourage their children to go to school at the right age, contributing to maintaining the attendance rate of 98%.
