Students of Sam Son High School (Sam Son Ward) were educated about the law on drug prevention and control, and the prevention and fight against all types of crimes.
In Thuong Xuan commune, with the motto of "early prevention, education from the root", the grassroots police force has closely coordinated with schools and youth organizations to develop practical propaganda plans suitable for students' ages. Through that, it helps students gain more valuable knowledge about the law, thereby knowing how to live more responsibly for themselves and their families, and pay more attention to pressing social issues, such as drug prevention, social evils, and maintaining security and order. Notably, at Cam Ba Thuoc High School, the principal and youth union coordinated with the commune police to organize the program "Greening the school", attracting the participation of more than 800 students. At the program, the commune police organized propaganda and disseminated knowledge about order, traffic safety, and prevention of school violence; warned about social evils such as drugs, electronic cigarettes, gambling, game addiction... and preventive measures. In addition, students can also interact, answer questions, and receive gifts.
Cam Xuan Duc, a student in class 11B4, along with many other students in the school, shared: "By participating in the propaganda session, I and many of my friends have learned to identify bad behaviors and have been equipped with self-protection skills and guided on how to resolve and handle unexpected situations as well as how to call for help when necessary."
In Sam Son Ward, Sam Son High School coordinated with the Ward Police to organize a ceremony to launch a campaign for students to strictly comply with the law on drug prevention and control for the 2025-2026 school year. The program attracted the participation of nearly 1,400 officials, teachers, staff and students of the whole school. At the program, officers and soldiers of the Ward Police organized propaganda, dissemination and education on drug prevention and control laws; knowledge and skills on drug prevention and control in a visual, vivid and accessible form and raised many questions related to drugs, new drug precursors, substances that cause mental disorders with effects similar to drug preparations... for students to interact and answer. In particular, the message "Say no to drugs in school" was signed by officials, teachers and students in the school to commit to implementing, striving and maintaining no drug abuse in schools.
In addition, to increase the attractiveness and suitability to the awareness and age of students, in addition to the propaganda content that is edited to be concise, easy to remember, easy to understand, the propagandists have cleverly chosen many forms of propaganda that are attractive and lively such as situation dramatization, law discovery contests, knowledge-integrated movement games... attracting the enthusiastic participation of students.
Right from the beginning of 2025, with the identification of propaganda, dissemination and legal education for young union members as one of the key tasks of the Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has closely followed the directives of the Central and the province to direct extensive implementation throughout the Youth Union. At the same time, directed 100% of the affiliated Youth Unions to develop and implement programs and plans on legal dissemination and education suitable for school groups and local practices, in line with the key tasks of the Youth Union.
In addition, to improve the effectiveness and quality of propaganda work, the Provincial Youth Union has always actively diversified propaganda forms such as: organizing conferences, online contests, implementing new models; integrating thematic activities, branch activities, propaganda spaces at congresses and conferences; actively responding to and participating in online legal knowledge competitions...
The diversification and innovation of content, forms, and methods of propaganda, dissemination, and legal education by all levels of the Youth Union have created conditions for young people to easily access and acquire legal knowledge, ensuring the implementation of citizens' rights to access information. Thereby contributing to influencing, changing, and raising awareness of young people in complying with legal regulations; preventing crimes and social evils. At the same time, creating conditions for young people to fulfill their responsibility to learn and study the law; promoting the role and responsibility of young people in participating in building and perfecting the legal system.
Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Ngoc Anh said: To continue to effectively disseminate and educate the law among the youth, the Provincial Youth Union has been implementing the developed groups of solutions. In particular, focusing on organizing propaganda and education activities to raise awareness of crime prevention and law violations; coordinating with families, schools, relevant departments and branches to build a safe, healthy and beneficial environment and space for teenagers; preventing and combating drugs among youth, pupils and students; participating in managing, transforming, helping and educating backward and erring youth to integrate into the community.
