According to the initial investigation, Truong Ngoc Anh, when holding the role of Director and legal representative of Dat Rong Real Estate Joint Stock Company, called on foreign investors to contribute millions of USD to real estate projects, including the Indochine building project at 112 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai. However, during the implementation process, Anh and several other individuals were accused of fraud in transactions, inflating investment values and using contributed capital for personal purposes.
The verification results showed that the actress only transferred a small portion of the refund amount to the company, leaving tens of billions of dong unaccounted for. In addition, Truong Ngoc Anh was also discovered to have illegally withdrawn money and made fake entries to cover up the violations.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Police are continuing to expand the investigation, clarify the responsibilities of related individuals and recover assets for investors and damaged businesses.
