Many large cracks appeared, a school in Tra Linh commune is at risk of collapsing.

At the scene, the concrete foundation right at the school gate was cracked and slid down the slope, creating a deep crevice, revealing the weak ground underneath. The fence system, columns and walkways were sunk and cracked.

Inside the campus, the classroom walls have many vertical and horizontal cracks, running from the base of the wall up to the roof, some places have peeling paint and mortar; the concrete floor is split and raised, running into the classrooms.

Teacher Nguyen Tran Vy, Principal of Ngoc Linh Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, said the incident happened many days ago, but due to the severe flood and landslide situation, the local authorities were only able to access it on November 1.

Tak Ngo school was inaugurated in August 2025, organized by the People's Committee of Nam Tra My district (old) in coordination with Ngoc Linh Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Nam Tra My Love Connection Club and Han River East Bank Golf Club.

The project has a total investment of more than 1 billion VND, of which clubs and social organizations sponsor 500 million VND, the rest is matched by the People's Committee of Nam Tra My district (old).

The project scale is 120m², including 1 solid classroom, 1 teacher's office room, restroom, playground, roof, gate and protective fence, serving 34 students and 2 teachers directly teaching.

The completed project will help overcome the situation of temporary study and study with others; contributing to creating a stable and safe learning environment for students in the Tra Linh highlands.
