Petrolimex and ENEOS 6th Summit

On October 15, 2024, Vietnam National Petroleum Group ( Petrolimex /PLX) and Japanese Energy Group ENEOS Corporation (ENEOS) held the 6th Top Meeting in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.

Attending the Conference, on the ENEOS side were Chairman and General Director Yamaguchi Atsuji, Senior Deputy General Director Shiga Satoru, General Director of ENEOS Vietnam Endo Tsuyoshi. On the Petrolimex side were Chairman of the Board of Directors Pham Van Thanh; Member of the Board of Directors, General Director Dao Nam Hai; Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director Tran Ngoc Nam; Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director Luu Van Tuyen; Member of the Board of Directors, Head of Kaizen Committee Tran Tuan Linh; Deputy General Director Nguyen Ngoc Tu and senior officials of both sides.

Conference Overview

At the Conference, the two sides reviewed and evaluated the results of the implementation of Kaizen cooperation contents in the past and plans for the coming time, oriented development strategies and shared cooperation and business opportunities in the future.

The 6th Summit took place in a frank and responsible spirit, demonstrating the good cooperative relationship between the two sides.

After this Conference, the leaders of both sides committed to jointly issue further instructions for Petrolimex and ENEOS to coordinate and support each other in performing tasks of strengthening governance and business efficiency, in the context of energy transition following global trends as well as the commitment of the Vietnamese Government to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
