Pfizer signed a memorandum of understanding with Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company

This signing marks an important milestone for the long-term partnership between Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company and Pfizer Company to work towards the goal of comprehensive cooperation to protect public health, proactively prevent diseases, keep up with progress in the world , and actively contribute to the health care of Vietnamese people.

With the efforts of the “Expanded Immunization Program” for children under one year old in Vietnam, we have now protected children from 10 dangerous diseases such as tuberculosis, hepatitis B, diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, meningitis caused by Hib, measles, rubella. However, there are still many dangerous diseases that can be actively prevented such as pneumococcal disease, seasonal flu, respiratory syncytial virus disease, meningitis caused by meningococcus.

Proactively preventing dangerous diseases with vaccines for all ages, including service vaccines, will help open up opportunities for people, helping people access the fastest global scientific achievements. Through vaccination opportunities for everyone, all ages, towards protecting public health.
