On August 13, informing reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Office confirmed that Ms. Le Thi Kim Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council was assigned to run the work of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee.

On August 10, Ms. Le Thi Kim Dung chaired the 54th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, giving opinions and deciding on contents within her authority.

Ms. Le Thi Kim Dung was assigned to run the work of the Provincial Party Committee in the context that Mr. Chau Van Lam - Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee has just submitted a request to resign from his assigned positions.

Previously, on August 3, the 13th Party Central Committee held a meeting on personnel work according to its authority, agreeing to let Mr. Chau Van Lam and a number of other leaders cease to hold the positions of members of the 13th Party Central Committee.
