Strive for 100% of eligible citizens to install, register, and activate the VNeID application

DTO - That is the target of the plan to implement the "50 days and nights" campaign to promote the installation and activation of electronic identification accounts for eligible citizens in the province, issued by the Provincial People's Committee on August 2, 2023.

The campaign takes place from August 5, 2023 to September 25, 2023. The Provincial People's Committee requests heads of departments, branches, sectors, unions, and agencies under the Party building sector to be responsible for thoroughly disseminating and requiring 100% of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, etc. of their agencies, units, and localities to complete the registration and activation of VNeID level 2 before August 30, 2023 and to propagate and mobilize family members and people in the place of residence to register and activate VNeID.

The Provincial Police urged the Police of districts and cities to promote the issuance and activation of VNeID in parallel with the issuance of citizen identification cards. Directed the Police of districts, cities, police of communes, wards and towns to advise the People's Committees of the same level to mobilize forces to effectively implement the campaign according to the assigned targets and time; 100% of eligible citizens in the province installed, registered and activated the VNeID application.

The People's Committees of districts and cities establish and mobilize forces to go directly to groups, hamlets, residential areas, etc. to guide citizens in installing, registering, and activating approved electronic identification accounts, ensuring the completion of assigned targets. At the same time, promote propaganda about the utility and value of VNeID in performing administrative procedures and civil transactions.

The plan aims to promote propaganda about electronic identification, guide citizens to install, activate and use the VNeID application; raise awareness of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and people about the position, role, significance, importance and utility of the VNeID application in all areas of economic and social life, in performing administrative procedures, civil transactions, forming digital citizens, creating consensus to participate and use the VNeID application commonly in daily transactions.
