Strive for more than 99% of agricultural, forestry and fishery production and business establishments to be certified as meeting food safety conditions.

To ensure food safety and protect consumers' health, the Provincial People's Committee issued a Plan to implement work to ensure quality, food safety, increase processing and develop the agricultural, forestry and fishery market with the goal that by the end of 2025, 99% of agricultural, forestry and fishery production and trading establishments will be certified to meet food safety conditions according to regulations; 95% of small-scale agricultural, forestry and fishery production and trading establishments will sign a commitment to comply with food safety regulations; 99% of agricultural, forestry and fishery food samples monitored will meet food safety requirements.

The Department of Agriculture and Agricultural Development uses a test kit to quickly check pesticide residues in vegetables and fruits.

To achieve the above goals, the Provincial People's Committee requires departments, branches and localities to improve their organization and enhance state management capacity on quality, food safety, processing and development of agricultural, forestry and fishery markets.

Encourage agricultural processing facilities to innovate technology, modernize equipment for preserving and processing agricultural products to diversify processed products, enhance deep processing to create high added value, control quality, and trace the origin of products. Promote trade promotion activities to maintain and expand the market for agricultural products to provinces and cities nationwide and towards export.

Along with that, developing the supply chain associated with quality management; increasing the consumption rate of agricultural - forestry - fishery products of the province, especially high-quality products (meeting quality standards, food safety, VietGAP, VietGAHP, ISO, HACCP, OCOP 3 stars or higher...) through modern distribution channels such as supermarkets, convenience stores, shopping malls, e-commerce...

Strengthen the organization of inspection, examination, and post-inspection of the implementation of food safety regulations in the decentralized management areas, and strictly handle establishments that violate food quality and safety regulations.
