The conference was held to implement Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Politburo on "International integration in the new situation", Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo dated December 22, 2024 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, Resolution No. 38/NQ-CP dated April 25, 2017 of the Government promulgating the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 06-NQ/TW on "Effectively implementing the process of international economic integration, maintaining political and social stability, in the context of our country participating in new-generation free trade agreements".
The training program focuses on the following contents: Guidance on implementing the latest management regulations of the Party and State on foreign affairs and international cooperation. Sharing the world and regional situation, impacts and influences on Vietnam in general and Hue City in particular; International integration commitments, opportunities, challenges, rights and responsibilities of enterprises and localities when implementing new generation free trade agreements in the field of science and technology (on intellectual property rights, science and technology standards, integration in the field of information, etc.); International integration and opportunities for investment and trade cooperation in the field of science and technology.
Access to the training content helps delegates and trainees raise awareness, understand the true nature of international integration events and the urgency of promoting domestic preparation for international integration; enhance understanding of the importance of international integration and cooperation in promoting the development of science and technology - innovation.
The speakers also provided the latest information on trends, policies and opportunities for international cooperation in the field of science and technology; oriented and disseminated the state's policies and strategies on international integration in science and technology, thereby encouraging the participation of stakeholders, contributing to promoting the application of international science and technology achievements into practice, improving competitiveness and sustainable development.

On this occasion, the Department of Science and Technology officially launched the Online Contest to learn about Digital Transformation of Hue City in 2025 (Contest).
The contest takes place from September 12 to October 12, 2025, aiming to: Raise awareness and digital skills for the community: Help officials, civil servants, public employees, students, businesses and people better understand the policies, benefits and applications of digital transformation in life, work and urban management. Promote the use and effective exploitation of the Hue-S platform: Encourage people to experience, interact and regularly use online public services and smart urban features on Hue-S, contributing to forming digital usage habits. Create a competitive movement and spread digital transformation throughout the city: Build an environment for learning, exploring and sharing knowledge about digital transformation in a vibrant and creative way, thereby contributing to the goal of improving the city's digital transformation index ranking.
The contest is organized in the form of an online quiz on the Hue-S application, including 20 multiple choice questions and 1 question predicting the number of participants who correctly predict all 20 multiple choice questions of the contest.
The content of the Contest focuses on learning about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, documents of central ministries and Hue city on digital transformation, smart urban services, knowledge about online public services, Hue-S platform, digital transformation index (DTI)... aiming at the goal of building digital government, digital economy and digital society.
The total prize value of the Contest is 26 million VND, including: 16 individual prizes: 1 First prize, 4 Second prizes, 5 Third prizes, 6 Encouragement prizes and 6 collective prizes.
The Department of Science and Technology calls on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, students, businesses and people in the city to actively participate in the Contest. Each participation is a practical contribution to spreading the spirit of digital transformation - for the digital community.
