In recent times, all levels, sectors and localities have implemented many solutions to solve employment, maximize the advantages of human resources, contributing to reducing unemployment and underemployment. From 2024 to the first half of 2025 alone, the city has connected to solve employment for more than 28,200 workers, of which nearly 3,900 people went to work abroad under contracts. Vocational training institutions have enrolled more than 23,000 students, with 14,803 graduates. Thereby, contributing to the development and improvement of the quality of human resources, especially high-quality human resources. It is expected that by the end of 2025, the rate of trained workers in the city will reach 75%.

Despite many positive results, the city's labor market still has shortcomings. The imbalance between labor supply and demand continues; the quality of jobs in the informal sector is still low; stability and sustainability are not high. The job exchange activities have not yet fully exploited their potential. The "Sustainable Jobs" Festival in 2025 is expected to overcome these limitations, strengthening the connection between businesses, training institutions and workers.

Students and workers learn about enrollment information and vocational training opportunities at the consulting booth.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai emphasized: "The Sustainable Job Fair not only brings employment opportunities to workers, but also affirms the city's determination to build a modern, flexible, effective and sustainable labor market. To do that, the city focuses on many directions: Expanding employment opportunities for the poor, near-poor, and disabled; creating conditions for young people and women to start businesses; promoting the connection between supply and demand through job exchanges and digital platforms; reforming procedures to ensure workers' rights quickly and transparently; closely linking vocational education with the practical needs of businesses".

Sustainable Job Fair is the key to both improving the quality of human resources and promoting rapid and sustainable economic and social growth, and is also Hue's commitment to accompanying and supporting workers and businesses to develop together.
