

Attending the launching ceremony were leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade; representatives of a number of provincial departments and branches; representatives of districts, towns and cities; representatives of the Provincial Business Association and enterprises and cooperatives in the province.
The launching ceremony is an activity in response to the "Vietnam Brand Day" week, which will be held nationwide from April 15 to 21, 2025, with the theme "Vietnam National Brand, Breakthrough from Innovation and Creativity".

Speaking at the ceremony, the leader of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade affirmed: Lao Cai province currently has 419 brands, including 50 collective brands, 20 certified brands, 349 ordinary brands without geographical names and 2 geographical indications. Some of these brands already have brands in the market such as Seng cu Muong Khuong rice; Muong Khuong chili sauce; Ta Thang Muong Khuong ancient San Tuyet tea; Bac Ha plums and pears; Sa Pa chayote; Traphaco SaPa medicinal herbs; Nghia Do duck; Van Ban native black pig; Bat Xat ginseng vermicelli...

In particular, in the context of transforming the growth model based on science - technology and innovation, the role of national brands becomes more urgent. On this occasion, the Department of Industry and Trade calls on the business community and cooperatives in Lao Cai province to continue promoting the spirit of innovation, dynamism, creativity, and strengthening cooperation to create products that achieve national brands and reach out to the international level.

At the ceremony, representatives of enterprises and cooperatives also expressed their response and determination to participate in the propaganda and promotion of "Vietnam Brand Day", creating a spread of the whole society in building and developing the national brand, thereby enhancing the reputation of Lao Cai products and goods in the domestic and international markets.
