Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Ngo Vu Thang awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to units with outstanding achievements in supporting the Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund.

On the morning of April 4, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized a program to launch the emulation movement to promote learning and talent (KH, KT), building a learning society and lifelong learning in the province by 2025. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Ngo Vu Thang, Chairman of the Provincial Education Promotion Fund Management Board attended and spoke at the program.

Chairman of the Provincial Science and Technology Association - Tran Hoang Duyen launched emulation movements associated with implementing many science and technology activities, replicating models of families, clans, communities, units, and learning citizens; emphasizing the significance of movements in building a learning society, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

At the program, the Provincial Science and Technology Association received a symbol of support for the Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund from sponsors with a value of more than 1.9 billion VND (the total source received in the first quarter of 2025).

In order to recognize the meaningful contributions to science and technology activities, the Association awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 5 business groups and philanthropists "for their outstanding achievements in supporting the Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund in 2025"; awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 8 groups and 35 individuals "with outstanding achievements in the science and technology emulation movement, building a learning society and lifelong learning in Bac Lieu province in the period of 2021 - 2025". At the same time, 140 scholarships were awarded to students (VND 1 million/scholarship, from the Vo Van Kiet Scholarship Fund of Bac Lieu province in 2025).

On this occasion, the Association also mobilized Nam A Bank - Bac Lieu Branch to present 100 gifts to ethnic minority members on the occasion of the traditional Chol-chnam-thmay New Year 2025.
