Abandoned newborn baby boy found in front of a house in Trang Bom

(DN)- On June 4, the People's Committee of Song Trau Commune (Trang Bom District) said it was coordinating to care for and handle the case related to a newborn baby boy abandoned in front of a resident's house in Hamlet 4, Song Trau Commune.

Previously, at around 4:30 a.m. on June 3, local residents discovered a baby boy weighing about 2.8 kg, placed in a red plastic basket in front of Ms. NTT’s house (Hamlet 4, Song Trau Commune). Immediately afterwards, local residents took the baby to the Song Trau Commune Health Station and reported it to the local authorities.

Song Trau Commune Police have drawn up a report of the incident. The child's health is currently stable and related procedures are being carried out according to regulations.

The People's Committee of Song Trau Commune has also issued a notice to find the boy's relatives. Within 7 days from the date of the notice, if no parents or relatives come to claim the child, the authorities will carry out procedures to transfer the child to a child care and protection facility according to regulations.
