On April 26, Bac Giang Provincial Police announced that the Internal Political Security Department of Bac Giang Provincial Police has just decided to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused related to the purchase of fake diplomas and certificates from many pedagogical schools.
The two defendants prosecuted are NTKN (37 years old) and TTL (41 years old, both residing in Lang Giang, Bac Giang) for the crime of falsifying documents of agencies and organizations under Article 341 of the Penal Code.
Previously, the police discovered 14 teachers in Lang Giang district and 1 teacher in Yen The district (both in Bac Giang) buying fake diplomas with information from the Central Pedagogical College, Hanoi Pedagogical University, and fake IT and foreign language certificates from Hanoi Pedagogical University during the period 2012 - 2022.
The purpose is to submit application documents for admission, examination for appointment of professional titles and salary arrangement for teachers.
The case is currently under further investigation.
The internal political security department of Bac Giang Provincial Police affirmed that the act of buying and selling and using fake diplomas is a violation of the law, infringing on the state management order in training activities, granting diplomas as well as recruiting officials.
The police agency recommends that organizations and individuals do not advertise, make, buy, sell, or use fake diplomas, certificates, licenses, and documents. Any violations will be strictly handled according to regulations.
If people discover acts of advertising, making, buying, selling, or using fake diplomas and certificates, they can report or denounce to the Bac Giang Provincial Police, the Internal Political Security Department (phone number 02043.589.273) or the nearest police agency.
