The new cave visited by a group of adventurous tourists, named Van Tien, has impressive yellow stalactites.
Two residents of Dong Ha City (Quang Tri Province) named Vo Linh and Hong Quan, along with Mr. Nguyen Tan Hieu - Deputy Director of Bac Huong Hoa Nature Reserve, Nguyen Tan Hieu, have just successfully explored a cave, named Van Tien Cave by the local ethnic minorities.
Van Tien cave entrance area is located in the rocky mountain range in Cat Tria village (Huong Son commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province). After finishing the motorbike route, walking for another 30 minutes, the exploration group reached Van Tien cave.

The cave entrance is only wide enough for one person to enter. Going deeper, the cave is nearly 10m high, the widest place is about 10m with many majestic stalactites, very strange shapes, brilliant colors, some places the stalactites flow like a river of sand, some places like waterfalls with a beautiful golden color.
In addition to the beauty of the stalactites, the cave also has a beautiful underground river system that flows windingly right at the bottom of the cave. On both sides of the river, there are many stalactites surrounding the river, creating a unique natural complex. The river water is cool, with many types of fish living there, typically eels and catfish.
There are many winding and intricate paths in the cave. Van Tien Cave has only been explored for nearly 1km. According to local people, the cave is still very deep with many large and beautiful stalactites that are no less than famous caves in many other localities. In the resource system of the Northern Huong Hoa Nature Reserve, over an area of over 25,000 hectares, there are still many caves that need to be explored and announced.
It is known that in the near future, Quang Tri province will invite explorers to fully explore the cave to have a plan to exploit and develop cave exploration tourism and create new tourism products for the province.
