Violations of more than 5 billion VND and 1,492 square meters of land discovered through inspection

As a result, through inspection at 108 units, violations of more than 5 billion VND and ^1,492m2 of land were discovered; recommendations were made to recover and pay to the state budget more than 1.9 billion VND and ^1,492m2 of land; recommendations were made to rectify, reduce the settlement value, and handle other matters more than 3 billion VND.

The inspection teams have recommended reviewing the responsibilities of 55 groups and 85 individuals; transferring information to the provincial police to consider one case of tax evasion and environmental protection fees according to their authority.

Regarding specialized inspection and examination, 61 inspections were conducted at 145 organizations and 466 individuals; 41 organizations and 101 individuals were detected and handled for violations; 28.56 million VND were recommended to be paid to the state budget, 879.15 million VND were administratively fined, and 1 case and 3 subjects were transferred to the investigation agency.

During the period, the Provincial People's Committee and sectors and localities continued to direct the regular implementation of inspection work by state management agencies and self-inspection work by agencies, organizations and units according to the provisions of Articles 55 and 56 of the 2018 Law on Anti-Corruption in combination with inspection and supervision work by grassroots party organizations, the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, the People's Inspectorate and direct supervision activities of cadres, civil servants, public employees and people associated with the implementation of the Democracy Regulations at the grassroots level and in the workplace.

Corruption has not been detected through inspections by state management agencies and internal self-inspections of agencies, organizations and units.

In addition, the Provincial Inspectorate has guided units and localities to implement asset and income declaration according to the provisions of the 2018 Law on Anti-Corruption and its implementing documents.

The total number of people who have declared assets and income under the management authority of the Provincial Inspectorate as of March 11, 2024 is 3,431 people, the number of people who have made declarations is 3,430 people, the number of people who have made public disclosure is 3,430 people (public disclosure by posting: 1,915 people; public disclosure by announcing meetings: 1,515 people).

During the same period, the Provincial People's Committee and sectors and localities received 3,088 petitions of all kinds (216 complaints; 77 denunciations; 2,795 petitions and reflections) and resolved 100%.

In addition, the province's state management agencies have resolved 1,336/1,990 complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections under their authority, reaching a rate of 68.5% (an increase of 30.8% over the same period last year).

Through resolving complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections, it was recommended to recover 1,702.2m2 of land for the State, return 2,175m2 of land to individuals; restore and ensure the rights of 10 individuals, and recommend administrative handling of 1 individual.
