On the morning of March 31, Hanoi Moi Newspaper held a conference for cadres, civil servants and employees in 2025.
In 2024, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Editorial Board, and the efforts of the staff, civil servants, and employees, Hanoi Moi Newspaper has successfully implemented and completed the key tasks set out.
The work of caring for the lives, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees and social activities has been effectively implemented. The Trade Union of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Editorial Office has coordinated with the head of the unit to ensure the regimes and policies of employees; organized meaningful activities to celebrate International Women's Day March 8, 2024, the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, and summarized the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" in 2023.
On the occasion of Children's Day and the end of the 2023-2024 school year, the Union Executive Committee proposed that the Editorial Board give gifts and rewards to employees' children; organize summer vacations and health check-ups for employees... The Editorial Board and the Union Executive Committee launched a campaign to support the City's Fund for the Poor; support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 and floods, with a total amount of more than 70 million VND.
The Trade Union Executive Committee has also performed well its functions and tasks of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers, and has contributed opinions on many aspects of the agency's work. The trade union groups have also coordinated with the Party Committee and leaders of the unit to supervise the exemplary conduct of cadres and party members in the unit; contributed opinions to build a united and unified unit, and complete political and professional tasks.
The Trade Union Executive Committee has also actively propagated, mobilized, andeducated union members and employees on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, resolutions and policies on Trade Union work; organized patriotic emulation movements among employees, contributing to the completion of the agency's tasks.
The Union Executive Committee also recommended that the Editorial Board resolve a number of issues arising related to workers' rights; forwarded recommendations from union members, civil servants and grassroots unions to the City Party Committee, People's Committee, City Labor Federation and Hanoi City Civil Servants' Union...
At the conference, representatives of trade union groups gave many presentations on the topics of "Increasing revenue from the media and advertising sector to ensure workers' income"; "Promoting the spirit of solidarity for the benefit of the collective of Hanoi Moi Newspaper", "The necessity of digital transformation and successful use of AI to improve labor productivity".
Speaking at the conference, Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Nguyen Minh Duc said that 2025 will be a year of many major holidays for the capital and the country, including the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, thereby calling on all employees to unite and promote the achievements they have made, strive to successfully carry out the political tasks of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, contributing to building a strong Trade Union organization, building a stable and developing agency.
According to comrade Nguyen Minh Duc, implementing the policy of the Central and the city, Hanoi Moi Newspaper will also have to reorganize and streamline its apparatus towards improving effectiveness and efficiency. Therefore, all employees need to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, strive to complete all assigned tasks well, thereby joining hands to build a sustainable development agency.
Comrade Nguyen Minh Duc also emphasized the role and importance of implementing digital transformation and applying artificial intelligence (AI) in management and operations, thereby improving productivity and work quality.
Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Minh Duc believes that by passing important regulations with clear provisions to encourage employees to complete their tasks, a vibrant competitive atmosphere will be created, promoting the strength of solidarity, and leading Hanoi Moi Newspaper to develop sustainably.
At the conference, the Editorial Board of Hanoi Moi Newspaper and the Executive Board of Hanoi Moi Newspaper's Trade Union signed a competition agreement for 2025. Collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in carrying out political tasks in 2024 were honored to be rewarded.
