After 5 years of operation, Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant in Tuy Phong district has always fulfilled its political mission of producing safe - stable - economic electricity associated with environmental protection, contributing to ensuring energy security, national defense and security; serving the goal of socio-economic development, people's lives nationwide in general, Binh Thuan in particular.

In the first 8 months of 2023, despite many difficulties when the Party members in the units were still too thin; the scope of management was scattered (the Plant was assigned by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) to manage and operate Vinh Tan 4 and 4 Expansion Thermal Power Plant in Binh Thuan and Phuoc Thai 1 Solar Power Plant in Ninh Thuan), the Party Committee of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant led and directed all aspects of the plant's professional work to achieve remarkable results. Accumulated up to August 13, 2023, Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant had generated 40.72 billion kWh of commercial electricity to the national grid. Regarding the planned output in 2023, by mid-August, Vinh Tan 4 and 4 Expansion Thermal Power Plant had produced 3.465 billion kWh/5.560 billion kWh, reaching 62.32% of the annual planned output. Along with that, Phuoc Thai 1 Solar Power Plant has produced 48.2 million kWh/72 million kWh, reaching 67% of the annual planned output. Other economic and technical indicators such as self-consumption electricity rate, unit availability coefficient... basically met the plan assigned by EVN.

This result is thanks to the political system in the entire Party Committee regularly receiving attention and close direction from the Party Committee, professional leaders, and superior organizations, especially the Party Committee of the Bloc and the EVN Party Committee. The organizational model is synchronous and consistent in terms of Party organization, expertise, and organizations; suitable for the requirements of leading the task of concentrated and effective production and business; facilitating the comprehensive leadership and direction of all aspects of the factory's operations. Up to now, the Factory's grassroots Party Committee has 6 subordinate Party cells; the total number of Party members as of August 2023 is 57 comrades, of which 50 are official comrades and 7 are reserve comrades.

With the pioneering role, key leaders and heads of Party committees always promote the responsibility of setting an example, saying what they do, being honest, and creating consensus among the collective. From action programs and resolutions of Party committees at all levels to emulation movements and promoting labor initiatives, all are widely implemented. Thanks to that, the movements are enthusiastically responded to by all Party members in the Party Committee of the factory, bringing practical results. These include: participating in and studying the content of the book by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; responding to the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award of the Central Enterprises Bloc in 2023; The third political writing contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in 2023; Propaganda to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation; Propagating and disseminating the implementation of Directive 06-CT/DU dated May 5, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Group on deploying tasks to ensure electricity supply in the dry season of 2023.

Identifying the role of cadres as particularly important, the Party Committee focuses on training and fostering cadres and party members in accordance with the planning of the Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 and 2025-2030 terms, directing the implementation of planning, reviewing the planning of subordinate party cell committees to basically meet the regulations of the Group Party Committee. The factory Party Committee carries out the work of monitoring, inspecting and supervising the implementation of programs and plans for 2023 of each subordinate party cell; the Party Committee promptly detects and corrects signs of violations from party organizations and party members. On that basis, regularly maintain political and ideological education for cadres, party members and workers to maintain solidarity and unity within the Party Committee.

Not only that, the Party Committee also directs the factory's expertise, always cares about and creates favorable conditions for jobs and income for employees to work with peace of mind. At the factory, Party members and employees all implement EVN's corporate culture well, are responsible for their work, and actively participate in social security activities. Specifically, Party members and employees of the factory respond to the emulation movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind"; support the Lunar New Year for social protection beneficiaries with disabilities and orphans in Vinh Tan commune with 80 gifts worth 40,000,000 VND; support Tet gifts for the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans in Tuy Phong district with 20,000,000 VND; support Tet gifts for the poor in Tuy Phong district with 50,000,000 VND; supported the Central Fund for the Poor with more than 75 million VND, along with many other meaningful activities in the two provinces of Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan.

Striving to complete the tasks of the last 6 months of the year, the Party Committee of the Factory continues to strengthen leadership, direct the building and consolidation of the organization increasingly tightly, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party. With the change in the quality of activities of the affiliated Party cells; promote the emulation movement to build a clean and strong Party organization; practice thrift and fight waste will add strength to Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant to successfully carry out the tasks and plans for 2023.
