CT scan and X-ray results showed that his right kidney was large (163x80mm), grade II-III hydronephrosis, containing many stones forming a cluster, measuring 26x56 mm, including a large stone at the renal pelvis-ureter junction measuring 31x32 mm. In particular, the patient had a lesion occupying the middle third of the right kidney, suspected to be a kidney tumor.
After consultation, the doctors decided to perform laparoscopic nephrectomy and kidney stone removal for this man. It was determined that this was a rather complicated surgery due to the large number of stones, many of which were large in size and had a kidney tumor attached, so it required high precision.
After more than 2 hours of surgery, more than 100 stones were removed from Mr. NVC's right kidney. Currently, Mr. C's health is stable, alert, and all indicators are within normal limits.
