Approving Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision 1469/QD-TTg dated November 25, 2024 approving the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Previously, on November 11, 2024, the People's Council of Ca Mau province, term X, 2021-2026, held the 16th session (special session) and unanimously elected Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai, born in 1971 in Luong The Tran commune, Cai Nuoc district, Ca Mau province. He received basic training and held many positions during his work in Tran Van Thoi district, Nam Can district and Ca Mau city. He has a Master's degree in Economic Law, Bachelor of Law, Advanced degree in political and administrative theory, and a senior specialist.

* In Decision 1466/QD-TTg dated November 25, 2024, the Prime Minister approved the results of the dismissal of Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province for the 2021-2026 term, to take on a new assignment.
