Deputy Prime Minister directs investigation into cause of fire that killed 3 in Hanoi

(PLVN) - Regarding the fire that killed three people in Hanoi, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed a telegram to send condolences and directed an urgent investigation into the cause of the incident.

At around 3:20 a.m. on April 28, a house fire broke out at No. 87, Alley 99/110/85, Dinh Cong Ha Street, Dinh Cong Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi City, causing serious consequences, killing 3 people and injuring 1 person.

On behalf of the Government and Prime Minister, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh sent condolences to the relatives and families of the victims.


At the same time, direct the Hanoi People's Committee to direct the organization of thoughtful visits, timely encouragement, material and spiritual support, create the best conditions for treatment and soon stabilize the accommodation and life of the victim's family. Closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to urgently investigate the cause of the fire, clarify the responsibilities of related organizations and individuals, and strictly handle violations (if any) according to the provisions of law.

The Hanoi People's Committee continues to resolutely and effectively implement the directions of the Government and the Prime Minister on fire prevention, fighting, rescue, especially propaganda work, combined with inspection and guidance for people to have solutions to enhance fire and explosion safety during the upcoming hot weather, ensuring that people have a safe and healthy holiday and participate in events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1).
