NDO - On the afternoon of September 30, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Dinh province had a meeting with voters in Quy Nhon city (Binh Dinh province) to listen to their thoughts and aspirations before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Also attending the meeting were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation Le Kim Toan; Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Phong Vu and representatives of departments, branches and sectors of the province. At the meeting with voters, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters about the expected content and program of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the results and activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation since the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly to date and the plan of activities in the coming time; responses of central ministries and branches to the recommendations of voters of Binh Dinh province sent before and after the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Speaking at the conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Thi Phong Vu informed voters about the important contents of the 7th session; the results of the implementation of the province's socio -economic development tasks in the first 9 months of 2024... At the same time, she shared the difficulties, damages and losses of people in some northern mountainous provinces affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi). At the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc said that the upcoming 8th session of the National Assembly will consider 30 contents on legislative work, review personnel work under its authority and many other important contents. In the past time, the National Assembly has made efforts to research and innovate the thinking of law-making in a flexible direction, with the spirit of doing and learning from experience, not being perfectionist or hasty. Taking people and businesses as the center, promptly removing difficulties and institutional obstacles, overcoming bottlenecks to unblock resources.

The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged, discussed and clarified the recommendations of voters regarding policies for public employees, policy families, etc. and reported to voters on the socio-economic development situation, the State budget in 2024 and reviewed and decided on the socio-economic development plan, the State budget estimate, and the central budget allocation plan in 2025. In the coming time, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will continue to pay attention to and monitor the transmission and results of handling and responding to voters' opinions and recommendations by the Government, central ministries, branches and relevant functional agencies; ensuring that opinions are resolved promptly, meeting the expectations of voters and people. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation requested all levels and sectors to continue to monitor and closely follow the practical situation to focus on leadership and direction to overcome difficulties, promote the results achieved in the first 9 months of the year, thereby completing the targets and plans set by the province for 2024.

In the coming time, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will continue to pay attention to and supervise the transmission, settlement and response to voters' opinions and recommendations.
The 8th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open on October 21 and close on November 30. The session will be held in two phases (phase 1, from October 21 to November 13; phase 2, from November 20 to November 30). The session will consider 30 contents on legislative work, 15 groups of contents on consideration and decision on socio-economic issues, the State budget, supervision, and decision on other important issues under its authority. At the same time, many contents will be reported by agencies for National Assembly deputies to study. This is also the session expected to have the largest volume of work submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and decision since the beginning of the 15th term.
