
Joining the delegation were comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, along with leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, and communes of Vi Xuyen and Thanh Thuy.
In Vi Xuyen commune, in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and the delegation offered flowers and incense at Vi Xuyen Martyrs Cemetery, the resting place of more than 1,700 martyrs, the outstanding sons of the Fatherland who heroically fell in the battles to protect the northern border.
At the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister and members of the delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs and pay tribute to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence, freedom and territorial integrity of the country.

After offering flowers and incense, the Deputy Prime Minister and delegates burned incense at the martyrs' graves in the Vi Xuyen martyrs' cemetery.
Next, the Deputy Prime Minister and delegates offered incense at the Temple of Heroes and Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front (Incense Temple 468) in Thanh Thuy Commune. This place is considered a sacred "red address" at the headland of the Fatherland, marking the fierce battles in the period 1979-1989, when the army and people fought steadfastly to protect every inch of the border.
Before the heroic martyrs, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung expressed his deep gratitude, affirming that the sacrifices of previous generations will forever be a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, a driving force for the entire Party, people and army to continue to build and firmly protect the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

The incense offering ceremony of the Deputy Prime Minister and the working delegation in Tuyen Quang not only demonstrates the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", but is also an opportunity to educate the tradition of patriotism and national pride for today's young generation...
