Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung attends FII9 Conference

(laichau.gov.vn) On the morning of October 28 (local time), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung led the Vietnamese delegation to attend the opening ceremony of the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference, taking place at the King Abdul Aziz International Convention Center.

The FII Conference, an initiative of the annual International Economic Forum initiated by Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman since 2017, is one of the world's leading and prestigious annual investment forums.

The 9th FII Conference gathered more than 20 heads of state and leaders of countries; more than 9,000 delegates from nearly 100 countries who are policymakers, leaders of multinational corporations and the world's leading sovereign wealth funds.

With the theme "Keys to Prosperity: Exploring New Frontiers of Growth", this year's conference focuses on discussing trends shaping the future of global economics and investment, particularly in the areas of new technology, artificial intelligence, sustainable development and energy transition.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung's attendance at the conference affirmed Vietnam's strong message of commitment to proactive international integration, being a reliable partner and attractive destination, with an open potential environment ready to welcome international investment flows.

This is also an important opportunity for Vietnam to introduce its dynamic business investment environment, new incentive policies, and key national projects to attract high-quality investment capital from the Middle East and around the world.

Also on the morning of October 28, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung had meetings with Mr. Faisal bin Fadhil Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning of Saudi Arabia, representatives of large corporations and enterprises of Saudi Arabia, such as LEK Group, 500 Saudi Arabia and Mr. Peter Diamandis, member of the Institute for Future Investment Initiative.
