(QBĐT) - On the afternoon of April 24, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) - Quang Binh Branch and provincial socio-political organizations (CT-XH) held a conference to review lending entrustment activities through CT-XH organizations in the first quarter and deploy tasks for the second quarter of 2024.

At the conference, delegates heard a report on lending activities entrusted through social organizations. In the first quarter, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies - Quang Binh Branch, together with 4 organizations (Farmers' Association, Veterans' Association, Women's Union, Youth Union) entrusted closely followed the direction of all levels, promptly met the credit capital needs for production, business, production recovery of poor households, near-poor households and other policy beneficiaries, contributing to the successful implementation of national target programs on sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social security.
Loan turnover of entrusted policy credit programs in the first quarter reached VND 400.9 billion. Total outstanding loans of credit programs reached VND 5,338.7 billion, an increase of VND 103.4 billion compared to the same period in 2023. Total overdue debt and frozen debt was VND 4.5 billion, accounting for 0.08% of total outstanding loans.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and pointing out some limitations and difficulties in the implementation process, such as: The results of the inspection of entrusted activities, especially the inspection of capital use at all levels of the association within 3 months did not ensure the regulations; the loan capital level of some credit programs was still quite low; the overdue debt rate in some associations was still high...

Based on the difficulties and shortcomings, the conference proposed key tasks and solutions in the second quarter, such as: Focusing resources, coordinating to promote disbursement, increasing outstanding loans according to assigned targets; directing associations at all levels to review the results of quality assessment of entrusted activities; continuing to coordinate to propagate to loan customers to provide and update citizen identification information to the policy credit management software system; coordinating to prepare the content to participate in the contest to celebrate the summary of 10 years of implementing Directive No. 40-CT/TW...
