Coordinate to remove difficulties and speed up the progress of power projects

PCBD is always proactive in "putting electricity one step ahead", investing in electricity projects in the province.

The leader of Binh Duong Power Company (PCBD) said that PCBD has proactively contacted and worked with localities in the province to urge early appraisal and approval of land prices, and at the same time coordinated with localities to continue meeting and mobilizing households to promptly hand over land to the electricity industry to construct 5/9 110kV projects that are still facing many difficulties and problems in compensation and site clearance.

Specifically, at the 110kV Green Gate transformer station (TBA) project and the connecting line, Phu Giao district held a meeting to approve the land price plan. Currently, at the location of pole No. 15, there are 3 households who do not agree to let the electricity industry pull the wire through their land, requesting the locality to approve the specific land price and compensation before considering the electricity industry pulling the wire; VT10 and VT11 locations do not have land for construction. PCBD recommends that Phu Giao district soon approve the land price, and at the same time apply the price to complete the compensation plan according to the plan... to have a basis for paying money to affected households.

For the VSIP 2 Substation Project and the connecting line, Bac Tan Uyen District has organized a meeting to resolve difficulties and problems in the construction process, appraisal of certificates, and appraisal of specific land price plans, but the conclusion of the District People's Committee has not yet determined the time for appraisal and approval of land prices. Along with that, at locations VT04, VT05, VT07 of this project, households only agreed to temporarily construct the foundation first, not to erect pillars, pull wires, and wait until there is a land price and compensation plan. PCBD has recommended that the Compensation and Site Clearance Council promptly appraise and approve the land price, apply the price to complete the compensation plan as a basis for payment to affected households.

At the Thanh An - Ben Cat 110kV transmission line project, the section through Dau Tieng has handed over the site to the construction unit at 43/44 locations; the section through Bau Bang district has handed over the site to the construction unit at 33/33 locations, of which 14 locations belonging to Dau Tieng Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. have completed the construction of pillars and 18 locations on people's land have completed the construction of 12/18 foundations. For the Thanh Phuoc 110kV Substation Project and the connecting line, the site and connecting line have been handed over to the construction contractor to start construction...

Strengthening coordination to overcome difficulties

According to the plan, in 2025, Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) and PCBD will invest in and complete the energization of 17 power grid projects and 110kV transformer stations (TSBs) in Binh Duong province, of which 9 projects must be energized (including Cong Xanh 110kV TSB and connecting line, VSIP 2 TSB and connecting line, Thanh An - Ben Cat 110kV TSB, Thanh Phuoc 110kV TSB and connecting line, An Lap 110kV TSB, Thanh An 110kV TSB, upgrading Thuan An - VSIP 2 110kV TSB into 2 circuits, installing T2 63MVA transformer at Ascendas 110kV TSB, installing T2 63MVA transformer at My Phuoc 4 TSB) before April 30, 2025.

According to calculations, after completing the energization of these 9 projects, a 110kV power source will be added with a total additional capacity of 584MVA.

Mr. Le Minh Quoc Viet, Director of PCBD, said that in order to continue to overcome difficulties and promptly construct and energize 110KV power projects before April 30, 2025, the electricity sector has proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee continue to direct Phu Giao, Bac Tan Uyen, and Bau Bang districts to promptly issue land prices and approve compensation plans as a basis for payment to affected households; continue to meet and persuade households to hand over the site so that the construction unit can carry out the project to ensure the set schedule...

At a recent working session on removing difficulties for key power projects, the Provincial Party Standing Committee requested localities to urgently coordinate with departments and branches to remove difficulties in site clearance and compensation prices so that households can soon hand over their land so that the power sector can ensure the construction progress of key projects serving the province's socio -economic development.
