Bank transaction office in Nha Trang caught fire at noon

At nearly 12 o'clock on May 24, people nearby were frightened when they saw black smoke billowing from the first floor of Thong Nhat Transaction Office of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - BIDV Khanh Hoa Branch (address 45-47 Thong Nhat Street, Nha Trang City).

At the scene, thick smoke billowed and an unpleasant pungent smell filled the air. Some people living around the house ran outside to prevent the fire from spreading.

Upon receiving the news, dozens of firefighters and two fire trucks rushed to the scene to help. Authorities also sealed off the area and set up traffic control checkpoints to assist in the firefighting efforts.

Authorities are still trying to contain the fire and have not yet determined the damage. The cause is being investigated by authorities.
