At the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Dinh Thong, Head of the Execution Department of Military Region 4, read a speech, reviewing the tradition of the Military Execution Department and the journey of formation, development, and implementation of the tasks of the Execution Department of Military Region 4.

Delegates took souvenir photos at the ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Military Enforcement Sector's Traditional Day.

Accordingly, implementing the Resolution of the 9th National Assembly, Decree No. 30/CP dated June 2, 1993 of the Government stipulating the organizational structure, tasks and powers of civil enforcement agencies and enforcement officers, on June 15, 1993, the Minister of National Defense signed Decision No. 247/QD-BQP to establish the Department of Enforcement Management of the Ministry of National Defense (now the Department of Enforcement of the Ministry of National Defense ). Then, on June 16, 1993, the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army signed Decision No. 430/QD-TM on the establishment of the Enforcement agencies of the Military Regions; the Navy and the General Staff. On August 29, 2017, the Minister of National Defense signed Decision No. 3596/QD-BQP on recognizing June 15, 1993 as the Traditional Day of the Military Enforcement Sector and the Military Region-level Enforcement Department.

Along with the formation and development of the Military Enforcement Sector, over the years, the Execution Department of Military Region 4 has always thoroughly grasped the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the tasks of the Army, and regularly followed the political requirements and tasks of the Military Region's armed forces. With its functions, duties and powers, the Execution Department has regularly proactively coordinated with the judicial agencies, relevant agencies and local authorities in the process of resolving the execution of judgments.

Over the past 30 years, the Military Region's Judgment Enforcement Office has completed 1,683 cases with a total amount of more than 53 billion VND, reaching a rate of 85.6% in terms of cases and 84.2% in terms of money. The unit has done a good job of propagating, disseminating and educating the law on civil judgment enforcement for agencies and units throughout the Military Region. Through mass mobilization work, the officers of the Office have focused on explaining and persuading individuals and organizations that must enforce judgments in order to gain support and assistance from agencies and units and change the awareness of collectives and individuals that must enforce judgments about their rights and obligations, ensuring that judgment enforcement is legal and effective; helping the Judgment Enforcement Office always complete well and excellently its central political tasks.

Authorized by the Minister of National Defense, Colonel Ngo Nam Cuong, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, awarded a certificate of merit to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ba Ky, Deputy Head of the Execution Department of Military Region 4, for his outstanding achievements in the execution of civil judgments in the Army.

The Execution Department of Military Region 4 was awarded Certificates of Merit by the Minister of Justice in 2010, 2012, 2018, 2019 and 2021; the Minister of National Defense awarded Certificates of Merit in 2008, 2018; the Commander of the Military Region awarded the title of Comprehensive Strong Unit in 2011, the title of Determined to Win Unit in 2022 and many other emulation titles to individuals in the Department.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Ngo Nam Cuong, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, emphasized the important role and position of the enforcement sector in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the State, collectives and citizens. Therefore, each officer and employee of the Enforcement Department needs to promote the precious tradition, solidarity, and efforts to overcome all difficulties to well handle the enforcement work and all assigned tasks.

On this occasion, authorized by the Minister of National Defense, Colonel Ngo Nam Cuong, Deputy Commander of the Military Region, awarded certificates of merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of enforcing civil judgments in the Army.
