Phu Binh: Destroyed over 800kg of chicken meat and organs of unknown origin

On June 11, Market Management Team No. 3 (Market Management Department of Thai Nguyen province) organized an inspection of a business household owned by Mr. Duong Van Toan (born in 1983, residing in Trung 2 hamlet, Diem Thuy commune, Phu Binh).

Upon inspection, the Team discovered 820kg of chicken meat and chicken viscera that had changed color (including 620kg of chicken breast, 50kg of chicken gizzards and 150kg of chicken liver). All of these goods were contained in plastic bags and showed signs of spoilage.

According to Mr. Duong Van Toan, the above goods were collected by him at markets in Phu Binh district and Song Cong city. Mr. Toan could not provide invoices or documents proving the origin of the goods.

All of these goods were then destroyed according to regulations. At the same time, Mr. Toan was administratively fined 11.52 million VND.
