In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Madam Ngo Phuong Ly happily welcomed Madam Ishiba Yoshiko on her first visit to Vietnam and hoped that the Japanese Prime Minister's wife would have many memorable experiences during the visit, thereby understanding more about the country, culture and people of Vietnam.
Madam Ishiba Yoshiko expressed her joy at visiting Vietnam for the first time; shared her deep impressions of the beautiful, dynamic country of Vietnam and the friendly, hospitable Vietnamese people; and wished that the relationship between the two countries would continue to develop, further meeting the needs and aspirations of the people of the two countries.
Sharing her experiences on her first day in Vietnam when visiting Japanese enterprises in Vietnam and the Vietnamese Women's Museum, Mrs. Ishiba Yoshiko highly appreciated the diligence, hard work, efforts and dedication of the Vietnamese people and young generation; expressed her admiration for the steadfastness, strength and many important contributions of Vietnamese women in historical periods.

The General Secretary's wife expressed her appreciation for the friendship and closeness that the Japanese Prime Minister and his wife have for Vietnam, especially the good feelings and assessments of Mrs. Ishiba Yoshiko for the country and people of Vietnam. Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly also shared the pride of the Vietnamese people in generations of women, who have always promoted the spirit of "heroic, indomitable, loyal, and responsible" and the qualities of "good at national affairs and good at family affairs" during the years of fighting for national independence in the past and in the current process of building and developing the country.
The two ladies discussed the unique cultural and artistic values of each country, including many cultural and culinary products of Vietnam and Japan that are popular with the people of both countries.
At the end of the meeting, the General Secretary's wife introduced and, together with the Japanese Prime Minister's wife, experienced making Hanoi green rice cakes. Expressing her deep impression of the richness and uniqueness of Vietnamese culinary culture, Mrs. Ishiba Yoshiko said that the two countries have many cultural similarities; she hopes that both sides will continue to promote exchange and cooperation programs to widely spread fundamental values and consider this a bridge to foster friendship and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.
