How hot are the 2025 university enrollment plans?

Up to this point, many top universities in the North have announced their 2025 enrollment plans, including many new points.

National Economics University

In 2025, the National Economics University will stop using some combinations when considering admission based on high school graduation exam scores.

Specifically, with the method of considering high school graduation exam results, the National Economics University recruits according to 4 groups, including: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry); A01 (Math, Physics, English); D01 (Math, Literature, English); D07 (Math, Chemistry, English); there is no difference in admission scores between groups.

Thus, compared to 2024, this year, the National Economics University has stopped 5 admission combinations including B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C03 (Math, Literature, History), C04 (Math, Literature, Geography), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English). In 2025, the National Economics University will enroll 2 new programs: Labor Relations and International Trade Law.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology

In 2025, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will reduce about 10% of the enrollment quota based on high school graduation exam scores compared to 2024, to reserve for the method of using thinking assessment exam scores.

In the admission method based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, in addition to keeping 10 admission combinations as in 2024, Hanoi University of Science and Technology added 1 new combination K01 (Math, Literature, Physics/Chemistry/Biology/IT), in which Math and Literature are 2 compulsory subjects, combined with 1 of the 4 subjects above with a coefficient.

The formula for calculating admission scores for the K01 combination is as follows: Math x 3 + Literature x 1 + Physics/Chemistry/Biology/IT x2. Admission combinations are calculated equally.

Hanoi Medical University

In 2025, Hanoi Medical University plans to adjust the admission combinations. In addition, the school plans to open two new majors including Social Work and Medical Imaging Technology.

Hanoi University of Industry

In 2025, Hanoi University of Industry plans to abandon the admission method based solely on high school transcripts. Instead, it will combine transcripts with international certificates, excellent student awards, and test scores to assess ability and thinking.

Regarding the admission combinations, the school plans to add some new combinations including A0C (Math, Physics, Technology), A0T (Math, Physics, Information Technology), B0C (Math, Chemistry, Technology), D0C (Math, English, Technology), D0G (Math, English, EconomicEducation and Law).

Hanoi National University of Education

In 2025, Hanoi National University of Education will have 3 admission methods, eliminating the admission method based on high school transcripts compared to 2024.

The school also plans to enroll 4,995 students in 50 majors and regular university training programs in 9 fields. Of these, there are 5 new majors: Biotechnology; Physics (Semiconductor Physics and Engineering); History; Sociology; Vietnamese Language and Culture.

Hanoi National University of Education 2

In 2025, in addition to the methods as in 2024, Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 will have a new method of organizing a separate exam and using the results for university admission.

The school is building and completing a project to organize this exam. This will be a competency-based exam.

University of Commerce

In 2025, the University of Commerce plans to use a variety of admission methods, giving priority to students with international English certificates.

Also in 2025, the school will open 7 new programs in the international career orientation group, including Brand Management (Marketing), International Certified Integrated Auditing (Auditing), Economics and Investment Management (Economics), Business Law (Economic Law), E-commerce (E-commerce), Information Systems Management (Management Information Systems), Business Chinese (Chinese Language).
