After more than 9 months of intense competition, the 2022-23 Premier League season has officially ended with mixed emotions.
Leeds United and Leicester City were the two saddest teams on the final day when they had to say goodbye to the highest league in England.
Leeds United ended a disappointing run of form in the crucial final stages of the season with a 4-1 home defeat to Tottenham.
This is the 9th consecutive match that Leeds United has not known what victory is, thereby standing second to last in the Premier League this season and sadly playing in the Championships next season.
Meanwhile, Leicester City played with great effort and won 2-1 in the reception of West Ham United.
However, this victory was not enough to help coach Dean Smith and his team stay in the league successfully because in the match at the same time, Everton also had a narrow 1-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth.

The 2023-24 Premier League season has also officially welcomed three new players including Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town.
