On August 4, a representative of ML Coffee Shop in Cam Ly Ward - Da Lat ( Lam Dong ) had a quick exchange with Lam Dong Newspaper reporters regarding the article reflecting on high beverage prices.
According to the female manager, in recent days, the cafe has received some feedback on social media about the price of drinks being “too high” and not commensurate with the quality. As a service provider, this cafe believes that every customer’s opinion is an opportunity to look back, improve and serve better in the future.
“This post appeared about 3 days ago. However, it was not until yesterday (August 3) that it received the attention of social media users. The shop’s business has been affected to some extent. But in general, customers understand and accept the price offered by the cafe,” said the manager of ML cafe.
Talking more about the prices of drinks, the representative of ML coffee shop said that the price for each cup of coffee includes all services of sightseeing, checking-in at the flower garden, fields and all the beautiful photo corners of the shop.
In particular, the machine-brewed coffees at the shop are all brewed from high-quality Arabica weasel coffee, bringing a delicious and unique flavor.
According to the female manager, the prices of drinks have been carefully balanced, transparently listed publicly, to suit the needs of the majority of customers and maintain sustainable service quality.
On August 4, Mr. Nguyen Thua Doan, Chairman of Cam Ly Ward People's Committee - Da Lat said that in the morning of the same day, an interdisciplinary team of police, tax and market management inspected the coffee shop that was reported to be selling at high prices.
"Basically, they have publicly listed prices and sold at the correct price. During the inspection, if any violations are found, we will take strict action," affirmed the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cam Ly Ward - Da Lat.
According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong, on the afternoon of August 3, this unit requested the local authorities to urgently verify the tourists' feedback. In the coming time, the tourism industry will strengthen inspections and coordinate with relevant agencies to control service prices to prevent the behavior of "ripping off" tourists.
