Russian military steps up, repelling another wave of Ukrainian attacks

In the direction of Donetsk, the Yug Group of Forces (Russia) repelled 10 attacks by the 110th Mechanized Brigade, the 3rd Assault Brigade and the 118th Territorial Defense Brigade of Ukraine near Andreevka, Kleshcheyevka, Krasnogorovka and Kurdyumovka.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that up to 150 Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded in the fighting in this direction. Two tanks, two armored fighting vehicles, three motor vehicles, a Strela-10 air defense system, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled gun, a D-20 towed gun and a Plastun electronic intelligence station of Ukraine were destroyed by Russian fire.

In the direction of Krasny Liman, the Tsentr Group of Forces (Russia) repelled three attacks of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade and the 12th Azov Special Forces Brigade near Chervonaya Dibrova and in the Serebryanskoye forest.

The group also targeted troop concentrations of the 63rd and 67th Mechanized Brigades near Torskoye and in the Serebryanskoye forest.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 65 soldiers, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 2 pickup trucks and 2 D-30 howitzers.

In the southern direction of Donetsk, the Vostok Group of Forces (Russia) repelled four attacks by the 128th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian forces near Priyutnoye.

The Group's aviation and artillery also targeted several concentrations of personnel and equipment from the 72nd Motorized Brigades, 58th Motorized Infantry and 127th Territorial Defense Brigades near Ugledar, Novomikhailovka and Urozhaynoye.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that 35 Ukrainian soldiers and two vehicles were neutralized in this direction. In addition, a British-made FH70 towed howitzer, a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher and two D-20 towed howitzers were destroyed by counter-battery fire.

In the direction of Zaporozhye, two attacks by the 65th and 117th Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian forces were repelled by Russian troops near Rabotino and Verbovoye. A series of air and artillery strikes also targeted the 65th Mechanized Brigade's troop concentrations north of Rabotino.

Up to 30 Ukrainian soldiers, a tank, two armored fighting vehicles and two motor vehicles were disabled in this direction. Three towed guns, a D-20, a D-30 and an American-made M777 were also hit by counter-battery fire.

In total, 483 aircraft and 250 helicopters, 7,314 unmanned aerial vehicles, 439 air defense missile systems, 12,247 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,159 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 6,611 field artillery pieces and mortars of the Ukrainian forces were destroyed during the special military operation.
