Vietnam-Kuwait friendship

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to Kuwait takes place at a time when the two countries are preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations in January 2026.

At the invitation of Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, his wife and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation paid an official visit to Kuwait.

This is the first visit by a senior Vietnamese leader to Kuwait in 16 years, taking place right at the time when the two countries are preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations in January 2026./.
