The team of Military Region 2 participates in the 2025 Military Sports Festival with the following sports: Football, badminton, table tennis and tennis. After 2 months of training at the Military Region, the athletes will move to the National Military Training Center 4 and the Political Officer School to get acquainted with the actual competition conditions and participate in the sports events according to the program of the Ministry of National Defense . According to the plan, the 2025 Military Sports Festival will take place from November 16 to November 25.

The Head of the Command and agencies of Military Region 2 gave gifts to encourage the athletes.

In his speech assigning tasks to the Athletes of Military Region 2, Major General Nguyen Dang Khai acknowledged and commended the activeness and initiative of the Organizing Committee of the Military Region Sports Festival in selecting athletes and coaches; coordinating well in all aspects of preparation; ensuring adequate facilities, uniforms, and playgrounds; developing plans, maintaining strict training and practice to achieve high results. The athletes and coaches have made efforts to practice with the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", correctly and fully performing the content of the exercises.

At the departure ceremony, Major General Nguyen Dang Khai presented gifts to encourage the four teams participating in the 2025 Military Sports Festival of the Military Region. Before that, the Heads of the Military Region's agencies and the delegation of athletes offered incense and flowers at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site in the Military Region 2 campus.
