In 2025, activities in response to Vietnam Law Day were widely deployed by Division 316, closely linked to the implementation of political tasks, training, combat readiness and building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" unit. With the theme "Raising awareness of respect for the Constitution and the law, building a culture of law compliance in agencies, units and the whole society", a political activity was widely deployed throughout the Division with rich content and forms.

The contents focused on propagating the meaning of Vietnam Law Day, disseminating legal knowledge, Q&A, dialogue between legal officers and soldiers, and many vivid, easy-to-remember, easy-to-understand legal "drama" games; thereby contributing to propagating and disseminating new legal documents to officers and soldiers, especially Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW dated April 30, 2025 of the Politburo on innovation in law-making and enforcement in the new period; regulations on management and use of social networks, prevention of social evils, traffic violations and violations of military discipline.

Notably, agencies and units have actively responded and participated in the 8th online "Legal Knowledge Competition" in 2025 on the People's Army Newspaper. The competition has become a lively highlight in the series of activities, attracting a large number of officers and soldiers to participate, thereby helping to improve legal knowledge and strengthen the skills of handling legal situations in the practical work, life and training of soldiers. This is also one of the specific and practical activities demonstrating the spirit of "studying, learning, living and working according to the Constitution and the law" of officers and soldiers of the entire Division.

Along with that, the internal broadcasting system, bulletin boards, libraries, and “Legal Bookcases” in all units have been effectively promoted, creating conditions for soldiers to regularly access, study, and learn the law. Many good models and practices have been maintained such as “One law per week”, “One legal awareness question per day”, contributing to spreading the spirit of studying and learning the law throughout the Division.

Another highlight in this year's series of activities is the Youth Discussion with the theme "Youth of Division 316 self-conscious, self-disciplined, strictly obeying the law and discipline" organized by the Youth Union branches and grassroots Youth Unions in the entire Division. At the discussions, cadres and youth union members enthusiastically exchanged and shared training experiences, said no to violations of discipline and social evils, and encouraged the safe use of social networks; thereby, practically responding to the Festival "Military Youth with law, discipline and traffic culture" in accordance with the unit's reality.

Participating in the youth discussion, Corporal Quan Van Truong, a soldier of Battalion 5, Regiment 148, shared: “Through the discussion, I better understand the meaning of Vietnam Law Day, and have a firm grasp of many legal regulations related to soldiers' lives, especially regarding traffic, social media use, and military discipline regulations. More importantly, I realize that studying law is not to cope, but to protect myself, to live and practice according to the standards of a revolutionary soldier. Since then, I have been more aware of every word, action, and daily activities in the unit.”

Officers and soldiers of Regiment 148 exploit the Law Library, study and research law at the unit.

During the peak period of responding to Vietnam Law Day 2025, Division 316 and its affiliated agencies and units organized more than 40 political activities and youth seminars; more than 3,000 officers and soldiers participated in the 8th "Legal Knowledge Competition" in 2025 on the People's Army Newspaper; along with thousands of times studying and learning about the law at the unit's libraries and reading rooms. Thereby, the awareness and responsibility of officers and soldiers regarding the law and military discipline have clearly changed; the unit has not violated State law or military discipline, and the self-awareness of each soldier in studying and training has been increasingly improved.

Affirming the results and significance of the activities in response to the Law Day 2025, Colonel Pham Hong Du, Deputy Political Commissar of Division 316, emphasized: “This year's Vietnam Law Day was implemented by the Division comprehensively, synchronously, seriously, and creatively with many new points, attracting the active participation of all officers and soldiers. Thereby, awareness of the position and role of the Constitution and the law has been increasingly raised, the spirit of respect for the law and self-discipline has become a way of life and thinking of every soldier. Those results have demonstrated the close leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Division's commander, and at the same time affirmed the practical effectiveness of the work of disseminating and educating the law in the Division in recent times.”
