The program, organized by the Vietnam Association for Development of Corporate Culture in collaboration with the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club (HUTC), is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 9th anniversary of Vietnam Corporate Culture Day (November 10, 2016 / November 10, 2025), towards the Selection Program of "Enterprises meeting Vietnamese business culture standards", the annual National Forum with the theme "Vietnamese business culture - Shaping breakthrough thinking in the new era" in 2025.
At the seminar, delegates said that culture is the root of business, the soul of the brand and the soft power of the nation. In the era of integration, Vietnamese enterprises cannot only grow by capital and technology, but must survive by culture - the value that creates the character and personality of the nation.

In his opening speech, Mr. Truong Quoc Hung, Chairman of HUTC, affirmed that tourism is a comprehensive economic sector and at the same time a “messenger connecting cultures”. According to him, those working in tourism not only have the responsibility of developing the economy, but also pioneer in creating a business culture imbued with Vietnamese identity of “honesty, trust, humanity and sustainability”.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, Head of Committee 248, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Corporate Culture Development, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism shared: “The tourism industry was chosen as the pioneer in implementing the model of “Enterprises meeting Vietnamese business culture standards”, because tourism is the connection between people, culture, economy and environment. He affirmed that in a rapidly changing world, any enterprise with a strong cultural foundation will stand firm and go far.
Also at the seminar, Dr. Nguyen Thu Hue, Deputy Director of the Institute of Business Culture, Vietnam Association for Development of Business Culture, said: "The set of criteria is an important measure to help businesses enhance their reputation, affirm their position in the socialist-oriented market economy, and at the same time promote the formation of a responsible business community with Vietnamese identity."
Speaking from a practical perspective, Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, General Director of Hanoi Tourism Corporation (Hanoitourist), hopes that the State will have a separate resolution on state-owned enterprises, in order to create equal conditions in competition, promote innovation and development.
