Major General Le Hong Nhan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, spoke at the ceremony.

Delegates signed the handover minutes of the 150-ton multi-purpose transport ship and the ST-294 combined patrol and troop transport ship.

A representative of Hong Ha Shipbuilding Company Limited said that both ships were manufactured according to military standards, using advanced materials, equipped with modern control systems, high-capacity engines, ensuring technical, quality and safety according to regulations of the Ministry of National Defense .

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Le Hong Nhan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, affirmed that the handover of the two ships marked an important step forward in the modernization of logistics and technology, contributing to improving the capabilities, mobility, and transportation of logistics and technical equipment and supplies; enhancing the combat readiness, search and rescue capabilities, and responding to regular and unexpected situations and tasks of the Military Region's armed forces.
