Thanh Xuan District achieved positive results in economic development.

On June 15, Chairman of Thanh Xuan District People's Committee Vo Dang Dung chaired the regular meeting of June 2023 of the District People's Committee on evaluating the results of work in May; results of implementing general inspection, handling, and resolving violations of traffic safety and order, urban order, and public order in the district under the direction of the City Steering Committee 197; results of site clearance work and environmental sanitation work in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks for the last 6 months of the year...

In May 2023, Thanh Xuan district focused on directing budget collection work; as of June 7, 2023, the total state budget revenue in the area reached more than VND 2,506 billion. The district also implemented solutions to increase budget revenue and speed up the disbursement of capital construction investment. As of May 31, 2023, the disbursement reached more than VND 68 billion.

Regarding construction investment, site clearance and urban management, the district has accepted the project documents, completed the final settlement and put into use 5 projects. Focused on reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles in the work of granting land use right certificates; organizing propaganda, mobilizing people to receive money, demolish works and hand over the site of the road project to the Thanh Xuan Nam cluster of three schools and the project to invest in building technical infrastructure around Re Quat Lake; publicizing 40 draft compensation, support and resettlement plans of the Thanh Xuan District Funeral Home project.

Along with that, the district has launched a general inspection, resolutely and thoroughly handling violations of traffic safety, urban order, and public order in the district under the direction of the City Steering Committee 197. 477 violations have been inspected and handled with a total fine of 679 million VND.

In the cultural and social fields, the district continues to maintain and stabilize the quality of comprehensive education, complete the 2022-2023 school year program; inspect and supervise 709 establishments producing, processing, preparing, trading food, catering services, and street food in the district.

In addition, the district has organized inspections and evaluations of the results of building wards that meet civilized urban standards in 5 wards (Kim Giang, Thanh Xuan Bac, Thanh Xuan Nam, Ha Dinh, Phuong Liet); well organized information, propaganda, cultural and artistic activities, sports movements; strengthened state management of the cultural and information fields.

Regarding the key tasks of June 2023, Thanh Xuan District People's Committee strives to synchronously implement budget collection solutions; strengthen the work of preventing tax losses, recovering tax arrears, striving to complete and exceed the city's budget collection target. Focus on implementing basic construction investment work; speed up construction progress, disburse public investment capital for projects.

Continue to effectively implement the Plans of the Steering Committee 197 of cities and districts on traffic safety and order, urban order, and public order; carry out pruning and felling of dangerous trees before the 2023 storm season.

Strengthen inspection and supervision of construction works in the area, promptly detect and strictly handle violations of construction order, especially cases of encroachment on public land and agricultural land.

Continue information and propaganda work to celebrate the major holidays of the Capital and the country; propaganda on administrative reform, implementation of the Project on developing applications of population data, electronic identification and authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030; 2 Codes of Conduct, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life"..., especially the construction of wards that meet civilized urban standards.

The district will implement the enrollment plan for kindergartens, grades 1 and 6 for the 2023-2024 school year; organize the entrance exam for grade 6 at Thanh Xuan Secondary School according to the plan of the District People's Committee and the guidance of the Department of Education and Training; ensure political security, order and social safety in the area. The district also strictly maintains combat readiness; deploys plans for flood and storm prevention and control and search, rescue and natural disaster mitigation according to plan. At the same time, strengthen fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue work, especially at facilities with high risk of fire and explosion, crowded with people such as markets, shopping centers, old apartment buildings.
