Quan Tri - My Huyen won the 2024 "Talented Artist" duet championship

On the evening of December 29, on the coronation night of the program "Talented Artists of the Garden - Duet Version 2024", a large audience present at the hall of Nguyen Quang Dieu High School for the Gifted - Cao Lanh, Dong Thap cheered and congratulated the two young actors (15 years old) who won the championship prize worth 100 million VND.

The contest "Rural Talents" of Dong Thap Radio and Television Station has gone through 5 seasons and has affirmed its brand, considered a program loved by farmers.

In this performance night, Vuong Quan Tri and Pham My Huyen performed an excerpt from "The Toad Prince" by author Bach Long, supported by Meritorious Artist Bao Tri. With a soulful voice and strong breath, although too young to understand and absorb the meaning of love in the story "The Toad Prince", Vuong Quan Tri and Pham My Huyen tried their best to sing and perform very smoothly.

Meritorious Artist Chi Linh, in his role as general director, commented: "Both of them tried to rehearse and learn carefully about the characters, and this year, although it was a duet version, both of them performed their roles very well, creating youthful energy in the folk tale praising loyalty and faithful love."

Two contestants Huynh Van Ut and Tran Thanh Oai won the runner-up prize. Huynh Van Ut and Tran Thanh Oai performed an excerpt from the reformed opera "Day song Bach Dang giang" (author: Nguyen Quang Nha) with the assistance of Meritorious Artist Van Ha. Huynh Van Ut is a driver, before the contest he had a traffic accident, almost unable to participate in the final night, he was highly appreciated by the audience and experts for his ability to transform into the historical role of Ngo Quyen.

The 8 contestants competing in the final night all showed their own unique voices, very talented and rustic.

Huynh Van Ut has a warm voice and unique acting, creating a strong impression through historical excerpts. Tran Thanh Oai is a barber, both actors made the audience forget their professions, believing that their singing and acting abilities could take them further on the path of art.

The three judges: People's Artist Trong Phuc, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen and artist Chi Tam all highly appreciated the efforts of Huynh Van Ut and Tran Thanh Oai who confidently expressed their passion and shined in the program "Talented Artists of the Garden".

The traditional music ensemble consisting of prestigious artists fully supported the contestants in the final night.

This year’s program has no age limit, the oldest participant is 80 years old, the youngest is 10 years old. The competition also does not focus on professionalism and maximizes the rustic singing and performing qualities of the people in the Mekong Delta provinces.

Pham My Huyen and Vuong Quan Tri will go further on their artistic path from the turning point of winning the "Talented Artist" Championship.

The two third-place couples: Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Nguyen Kim Lai; Nguyen Hoang Huynh - Dinh Thi Kim Chi also received praise from the audience for their roles in the final night.
