Quang Tri Border Guard Medical Corps supports a mother giving birth in the flood

On October 30, the medical staff of A Vao Border Guard Station, Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command, assisted a pregnant woman in successfully giving birth.

Previously, pregnant woman Ho Thi Chon, born in 2004, residing in Ta Rut commune, Quang Tri province, showed signs of labor. At this time, the road from Ms. Chon's house to the local health station was cut off due to heavy rain and floods, making it impossible to travel.

Upon receiving the information, officers and soldiers of A Vao Border Guard Station and Ms. Chon's family took the pregnant woman to Pa Lin Military Medical Station, Ta Rut Commune for monitoring and assistance in giving birth.

At 7:30 a.m. the same day, with the help of Lieutenant Colonel Tran Minh Vu and Major Hoang Kim Bac, mother Ho Thi Chon successfully gave birth to a baby boy weighing 3.3 kg, the health of both mother and child was stable.
