Over 20 unique and creatively organized programs transformed Quang Binh into a vibrant stage for experiences, where tradition and modernity intertwine, and where the community and tourists embark on an inspiring journey of connection.

Multi-layered experience

With a focus on developing high-quality annual events, Quang Binh Tourism Week 2025 is the next step in the journey of building a professional tourism ecosystem, organized systematically and closely linked to the province's unique natural and cultural resources.

“The Tourism Week is a concrete step in the strategy of renewing products, diversifying experiences, and elevating the Quang Binh tourism brand. We aim to build a tourism space with cultural depth, community engagement, and create momentum for local economic development. This is also an opportunity for businesses inside and outside the province to connect, introduce products, and thereby form a professional, sustainable tourism ecosystem with a distinct Quang Binh identity,” emphasized Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The tourism week kicks off with a survey and seminar on tourism product development, taking place over two days, May 22nd and 23rd. Over 100 delegates, including experts, major travel businesses, and journalists from across the country, will experience new green, cultural, historical, and accommodation tourism routes and destinations. At the seminar on the afternoon of May 23rd, approximately 150 delegates will discuss sustainable tourism development and organize a business matching space connecting nearly 100 travel companies with local tourism businesses.

Art program to welcome Quang Binh Tourism Week 2024.

On the night of May 23rd, the Bảo Ninh 1 urban area (Regal Legend) will be illuminated with the art program "Quang Binh - Come and Love It," featuring renowned artists such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Cuong Seven, People's Artist Thuy Linh, and talented young artists: Hoang Hong Ngoc, Ho Van Kinh, Tran Nguyen Thang, Hoang Viet Danh, Karin Pham, DJ Tit...

The meticulously staged performances, utilizing modern sound, lighting, and 3D projection technologies, promise a vibrant, youthful, and creative artistic experience. The program will be broadcast live and widely available on digital platforms. Following this will be a 10-minute low-altitude fireworks display featuring 45 pyrotechnics, starting at 10 PM, concluding the evening of art with dazzling bursts of light against the backdrop of the night sea.

From May 25-28, Regal Legend will host a food festival and tourism promotion space showcasing various provinces and cities. With approximately 75 booths (including 50 food stalls and 25-30 OCOP (One Commune One Product) stalls), the event will bring together delicious regional dishes, local specialties, and characteristic products from many provinces and cities across the country. More than just a place to enjoy food, it's also an opportunity for visitors to learn about culinary culture, interact with artisans and chefs, and experience a vibrant local festival atmosphere.

On the evenings of May 23rd and 25th, there will also be performances of traditional arts by the Provincial Art Troupe, folk artists, and young music groups. The pedestrian street and night market area in the Regal Legend urban area will also be organized throughout the Tourism Week, bringing a lively atmosphere every summer night.

Culture, sports, and tourism blend together.

To celebrate the depth of Vietnamese culture, the exhibition "50 Years of Vietnamese Literature and Art in Quang Binh" will be held from May 23-30 at Regal Legend. Featuring valuable artifacts, paintings, and documents from the Provincial General Museum and local artists, the exhibition is an opportunity for locals and tourists to look back on the creative journey of the past half-century, from the reunification of the country to the changes of today.

Regal Legend will host a food festival and a space to promote tourism in various provinces and cities.

The Quang Binh Provincial Folk Culture Club Festival, held on May 24th and 25th at Nhat Le Park (Dong Hoi City), serves as a platform to connect artisans and clubs throughout the province. It's an opportunity to promote folk culture and contribute to the preservation of precious intangible cultural values that are gradually disappearing.

The atmosphere of the tourism week had already spread beforehand through grassroots sports activities: the Provincial Open Badminton Tournament (May 8-11), the Open Pickleball Tournament (May 15-18), swimming competitions for various age groups, and the badminton tournament for civil servants, employees, and workers (May 23-25)... These activities created a vibrant atmosphere in the community and attracted sports-loving tourists to Quang Binh during the summer.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is also coordinating with relevant units to implement comprehensive activities to ensure security and order, food safety, environmental hygiene and health, ready for a safe, friendly and memorable week of tourism.

The Quang Binh Tourism Week 2025 saw active participation from businesses both within and outside the province. Cave exploration tours, eco-tourism, beach resorts, and culinary and entertainment experiences were simultaneously introduced. Throughout this period, tourism businesses in the area will organize opening ceremonies and introduce new products, ranging from accommodation facilities and resorts to new experiential tours and products permitted for trial operation. This is considered an effective opportunity to promote products during the peak tourist season. Introducing products within the event space will help increase reach and communication effectiveness.

Quang Binh province identifies tourism as a key economic sector, but in its journey to build a brand, tourism always goes hand in hand with preserving and developing cultural values.
